WWE’s First Postponements of 2022

Four Canadian Dates Moved

WWE issues the first cancellation for 2022

WWE has had to moved their short Canadian tour that was scheduled to happen in January to September 2022 and October 2022. Their four shows were supposed include a Smackdown episode, two house shows and a Raw episode. The reason wasn’t announced, but ticket sales were said to be doing well. It was supposed to be WWE’s first time in Canada since the pandemic. However, since the new variant has been discovered this may cause WWE and other promotions not to schedule out of country dates right now.

The Dates Moved

WWE’s Friday Night Smackdown in Winnipeg that was scheduled for January 21st, 2022 has been moved to September 30th, 2022.

WWE’s SuperShow in Regina that was scheduled for January 22nd, 2022 has been moved to October 1st.

WWE’s SuperShow in Saskatoon that was scheduled for January 23rd, 2022 has been moved to October 2nd and will be a WWE Live.

WWE’s Monday Night Raw in Edmonton that was scheduled for January 24th, 2022 has been moved to September 26th.

WWE stated that all already purchased tickets will be honored for the new rescheduled dates and the rest of the tickets are currently on sale at Ticketmaster Canada. They are still planning to have WWE Live shows on December 29th in Toronto and on December 30th in Quebec. Trish Stratus has been announced as the host for the Toronto show which many fans hope that Sasha Banks is also there for to challenge her.

The New Dates in the United States

WWE also announced the dates added in the United States from the postponements. Now the WWE Smackdown will be at Nashville, Tennessee on January 21st while the WWE Raw will be at Toledo, Ohio on January 24th. WWE also has set up WWE Live shows for January 22nd, 2022 in Corbin, Kentucky and for January 23rd in Huntington, West Virginia.
