Where’s Alexa Bliss?

Left in Saudi Arabia? Not on the Columbus’ Raw Show

WWE Alexa Bliss

This week’s episode of WWE RAW came to us from Alexa Bliss’ hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Many fans for waiting for her United States’ return since the last time we saw her was from WWE’s Elimination Chamber premium live event in Saudi Arabia. She had been gone for five months before that only appearing in vignettes about therapy. However, she didn’t show up. I couldn’t believe she didn’t show at all. Does this mean that the five time Women’s Champion won’t be on WrestleMania 38?

WWE Raw this week showed us that we are probably getting Damian Priest vs Finn Balor at WrestleMania. Priest turned heel after Balor won the United States Championship. Plus A.J. Styles answered Edge’s challenge for a match at WrestleMania. So was I wrong thinking that WWE would use Alexa’s hometown as a backdrop to get her on WrestleMania? I mean Alexa is one of their biggest merchandise sellers and her gimmick has been a huge part of Raw since October 2020.

The Fans

You could tell by all the pictures that fans were posting about her on Twitter and Instagram that they were looking forward to her arrival. Many didn’t understand if she was cured by her therapist or if she was reverting back to her previous gimmick with Lilly at Elimination Chamber. They seemed to be waiting for a confirmation of who she is. However, WWE Creative didn’t want to give them that either because they don’t know or they are waiting for a bigger moment. I think it’s because they don’t know.

Seems like even Alexa Bliss was confused. One of the fans in attendance tweeted at Alexa asking where she was. Alexa actually responded with a shrug emoji. So could this mean that WWE doesn’t have any plans for her? She hasn’t appeared on any show despite being one of their biggest female stars. Are they really going to leave Asuka, Bayley and Alexa Bliss out of this year’s WrestleMania?

Hope?

I mean couldn’t they have at least gave her hometown fans a dark match against someone? Like Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley or Liv Morgan? I know her bachelorette party was this past weekend, but that shouldn’t have interfered with a match or her upcoming storyline. Well, if there is one. I guess I’m left to wonder if what I heard earlier will come to pass. I hope that we get to see Alexa Bliss the first weekend of April on the WrestleMania card.
