2022 PGA Championship Bets

This weekend at Southern Hills Country Club

We have the second major of the season this coming weekend and most just can’t wait. It’s going to be rough since high winds with hot temperatures and there are only two par-5s. This is the 104th one being held for the PGA Tour. The Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma is the host for this event. It’s the first time since the PGA Championship in 2007 when Tiger Woods won it.

I didn’t even think about Scottie Scheffler who won the Masters when it was the time for the first major. When looking for a player to bet then I think you have to consider their drives from tee to green and their accuracy from there. They are going to be in the sand and chipping a lot on this course so make sure you are paying attention to that. I’m not sure that you can look at previous tournaments this year. I would probably use how they have performed in previous majors.

Of course, so many are picking the favorites of Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler with Rory McIIroy and Dustin Johnson following right behind them. Then you have Tiger Woods coming in at 50–1 odds.

Winner

Jordan Speith (+1400)

Justin Thomas (+1800)

Viktor Hovland (+2000)

Will Zalatoris (+3500)

Max Homa (+5000)

Top 10

Rory McIIroy (+150)

Patrick Cantlay (+230)

Dustin Johnson (+320)

Tony Finau (+400)

Tyrrell Hatton (+500)

Tiger Woods to Make the Cut (-115)

I know my friends are going to see this play and be like are you serious, Sam? I know, I know. But I can’t help it. These are too good of odds not to play it. I’m not throwing a whole unit, but I am playing this one at some little amount. He hung around the first two days at the Masters before the course just got to be too much for him to walk. However, I think he will be more in golf shape and will handle the first two days even better at the PGA Championships.
